I laid down, and smiled, as I started to sleep.
Knowing that in your arms again, soon I'd be.
Kissing your soft sweet lips, while our bodies embraced.
My hand on your cheek as I stared at your face.
Holding your hand we walk down the path,
Stealing a kiss every possible chance,
For I knew that shortly would be,
Sunrise....
The end of you and me.
The Sun's light would shine, and burn through my heart,
As a reminder that she is why we are a part.
With no place to go, and no where to be,
Wondering lonely through the day is me.
No purpose nor reason, No will to survive.
Wondering why I was still alive.
The sun light would fade and the moon would glow,
And once again my happiness could show,
For deep in my dreams, behind the shadows of night,
Right back in my arms you are, holding me tight.
Then I wake up again to the miserable day,
And try to get through it some how, some way.
I see a face somewhere across the crowd,
And suddenly my heart screams loud.
The closer I get the more that I see,
My dream is alive, staring back at me.
I rush to your side, grab a hold of your hips,
Pull you to me, with a passionate kiss,
I smile, we laugh, how ever could it be you
My lady, my love, My dream has come true.
Now I dream of the day, and fear the night,
For the sun's rays now, bring you to sight.
I will wait for you my love, till the time is here,
When Nighttime or day, you'll always be near.
