A Dream of Roads Not Taken

And I dreamt.

You were there beside me
lost in this paradise
As amber rays of sun danced
Through soft clouds
Showering down upon us
While we walked
Side by side
without speaking a word
the only conversation
the beat of our hearts

We followed the path
with no worries of where it may lead
With no sense of time or direction
We let life take us where it willed
Happily exploring every new sight
And feeling alone the way

Distant sounds
Of life beyond this paradise
Echoed from afar
But we did not care

Thunderous rage boiling in the sky
And rainbow crested clouds
The fork in the road
Separates our hands
As divided
The path of life send us

Will these paths cross again
Or forever
Shall they venture us further apart
Longingly searching
For togetherness again

Alone now I walk
And I dreamt...

Infatuated Seduction

Your eyes cannot hide the feelings you attempt to deny.
Seducing me with every word  that you speak, as your eyes scream out my name.
Infatuation sets in as I stare longingly into your soul.
Lost for words although my mind's a flood of thoughts and dreams .
Why must we play this game, why must we fight our urges.
When will the day, that hidden inside we will no longer have to be.
Until that day does come, I shall happily reminisce on the time spent together in our minds, and the unspoken connection bonding our souls together.
